Notes:
This image was created as a sample CD cover for a Flamenco compilation album. The project lasted for several weeks and included numerous critiques and design iterations. This final version was created with one photograph of flames, which was manipulated only to accentuate the form of the dancer in the negative space. The printed version incorporated black-on-black overprinting which forced the subtle matte sheen text to stand out on the glossy black image background (overprinting effect simulated in this image).
